Command releases briefings from joint training industry meeting U.S. Joint Forces Command has released briefings command officials presented to industry during a recent meeting. By USJFCOM Public Affairs (SUFFOLK, Va. - June 21, 2009) -- More than 300 people from 80 different companies attended a U.S. Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) industry information day June 13 at the USJFCOM Joint Warfighting Center (JWFC) in Suffolk, Va. The program focused on future joint training support and briefings presented by USJFCOM JWFC staff outlined the next generation of training support services and contracts. This forum also provided an open opportunity to discuss preliminary requirements information with industry. Navy Capt. John Polowczyk, USJFCOM business manager, said the program also allows provides an opportunity for companies to see who else in industry may be interested in possible teaming arrangements when it comes to future contracts. "We hold these type of events to understand what the market can bring in relation to innovative solutions for joint training to generate new ideas," Polowczyk said.
