Command to host annual Salute to Veterans concert

U.S. Joint Forces Command will highlight "America's Heroes - Through the Years." when the command hosts the 10th annual "A Salute to Veterans" concert in November.

(NORFOLK, Va - Oct. 14, 2005) -- U.S. Joint Forces Command will host the 10th annual "Salute to Veterans" concert at 3 p.m. Nov. 6 at Norfolk's Chrysler Hall.

The performance features a combined military band, made up of select members of: U.S. Army Continental Band, Fort Monroe; U.S. Atlantic Fleet Band, Norfolk; U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band, Langley AFB; Marine Detachment, Navy School of Music, and the New London, Conn.-based U.S. Coast Guard Band.

The theme for this year's concert is "America's Heroes - Through the Years."

The concert is free and open to the public, but tickets are required to ensure seating.

Tickets may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: The U.S. Continental Army Band, Attn: STV Tickets, 10 Bernard Rd., Fort Monroe, Va. 23651. People without tickets will be admitted after 2:45 p.m. on a space-available basis.
