(ONBOARD USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT - Aug. 1, 2005) -- Ambassador Ed Kronenburg, director of the private office of the secretary general of NATO presents the NATO Meritorious Service Medal to Navy Admiral Edmund P. Giambastiani, Jr., NATO Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, and Commander, Joint Forces Command, during his departure ceremony here today. Giambastiani relinquished both commands in a ceremony aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt and departs to become the next vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
