Myers, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, presents a Distinguished Public Service Award to Mrs. Cynthia Ann Giambastiani during a departure ceremony for her husband here today. U.S. Navy Admiral Edmund P. Giambastiani, Jr., NATO Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, and Commander, U.S. Joint Forces Command, relinquished both commands in a ceremony and departs to become the next vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
