Who
handles contracts for USJFCOM and its agencies?
Contracts at USJFCOM are primarily awarded through the Fleet and Industrial
Supply Center Norfolk, detachment Philadelphia Contracting Office. USJFCOM
monitors contracts through its Contracting and Acquisition Management Office
(CAMO).
How
do I know what USJFCOM is working on?
There are four basic sources which publish JFCOM areas of interest: the USJFCOM
website http://www.jfcom.mil ; the website
link at Partnering with us to current RFIs/RFPs,
which are also listed in the Federal Business Opportunities site at http://www.eps.gov
, and CRADA opportunities; the annual overview of long range USJFCOM interests
published during the Joint Warfighting Conference and periodic outreach events.
Does
USJFCOM have a small business office?
USJFCOM supports engagement with small businesses. Contracting small business
goals are established by contracting offices utilized by USJFCOM, such as the
Philadelphia Detachment of the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk.
USJFCOM implements those small business goals.

How do I start the process to make a briefing?
The USJFCOM Industry and Academic Collaboration Office secretariat has a process in
place to provide a venue for capabilities briefings. Start
the process by clicking here to
contact us by e-mail. During
follow on communications, you will need to provide a copy
of the presentation, the agenda, and proposed goals.
The
USJFCOM Industry and Academic Collaboration Office secretariat will forward the presentation
to USJFCOM directorates or those specifically targeted
to query interest in the presentation. Interested directorates
will work to arrange an on-site presentation.
Who
can I contact to request copies of contracts?
Contact the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) representative at Fleet and Industrial
Supply Center Norfolk, detachment Philadelphia. Contact number is: 215-697-9729,
or the other relevant contracting office which issued the contract.
Can
I hook my computer equipment to your networks?
Depending on which USJFCOM facility you are visiting and your individual needs,
the answer to this question varies. Please contact us to determine your requirements
and how much we can assist.
Do
I have to submit my proposal through the Web site?
The command encourages e-mail submission as the initial step in engaging with
us. We have an automated process to distribute the submission within the command
and postal mail submission must be entered into the system by hand, which can
significantly delay the review process.
Can
I include an active file or executable with my submission?
Due to security considerations, USJFCOM cannot accept
submissions containing active links or executable files.
Do not send active links and files with the extension “.exe.”
How
will USJFCOM contact me after I've submitted an idea
or proposal?
Make sure you provide accurate contact information with your submission. Following
initial assessment, USJFCOM will contact you by e-mail, telephone, or mail.
Should
I submit company-confidential information during a capability
presentaton and other submission processes?
We will ensure that all reasonable steps are taken
to protect sensitive proprietary data properly marked by
companies.
Can
I schedule a meeting or demonstration with USJFCOM before
submitting?
USJFCOM receives a large number of proposals on
a regular basis. This is the reason we request only a brief
one-page unrestricted synopsis on the initial submission.

proposal and schedule a meeting.
