USJFCOM to host training-focused industry day U.S. Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) will hold an Industry Day focused on future joint training requirements Feb. 26 at the USJFCOM Joint Warfighting Center (JWFC) in Suffolk, Va.

Organization & Functions

The following functions will continue during USJFCOM's transition period.

They include:
Business Management Officer (BMO): The BMO is responsible for providing a formal, public process to exchange key capability information between USJFCOM and industry for planning purposes within Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) contracting guidelines.

Office of Research and Technology Applications (ORTA): The ORTA Office is USJFCOM's focal point for industry and academia engagement and partnership development. The office personnel oversee engagements, and CRADA agreements between USJFCOM and industry, academia, and other interested parties. They also identify new technologies that will help fulfill warfighter requirements.

Contract Acquisition Management Office (CAMO): As the single acquisition point of contact for guidance, compliance, and interface with regional contracting organizations, the CAMO provides policy, acquisition oversight and efficient contract management support for USJFCOM.

Science Advisor (SA): The role of the SA includes:
• identifying joint warfighting technological needs;
• pioneering new applications for existing technology;
• and exploring disruptive technology to create new joint warfighting capabilities.
