Joint
Transformation Command for Intelligence (JTC-I)
Joint Transformation Command – Intelligence (JTC-I), provides joint intelligence products to deploying forces, geographic combatant commands, functional component commands, joint task forces, sub-unified commands and the inter-agency community.
JTC-I, a subordinate command of U.S. Joint Forces Command, works closely with the USJFCOM director for intelligence (J2) to develop and integrate joint intelligence solutions to warfighting commanders through direct support in the planning and execution of joint exercises. JTC-I also provides joint intelligence training, intelligence forces and joint intelligence enabling capabilities to their customers.
JTC-I develops and maintains both the Joint Intelligence Laboratory (JIL) and the Joint Battlespace Awareness Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Integration Capability (JBAIIC).
The JIL is a full service, all-source intelligence laboratory that hosts the testing of joint intelligence concepts, processes, methodologies, technologies or other intelligence transformational initiatives.
The JBAIIC collects intelligence data and processes the data to make it available to the warfighter on every level from the strategic to the tactical level.
In addition, JTC-I conducts intelligence innovation and experiments focused on the needs of the combatant command and joint task force commanders and produces materials in support of assigned defense intelligence analysis programs.
