JOPES Support Personnel Course (JSPC) The Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES) is the Department of Defense’s (DoD’s) principal means for translating national security policy decisions into military plans and operations. JOPES Functional Managers grant permissions, restrict access to operation plans on the database, and perform periodic reviews of user IDs and the content of the JOPES database to ensure outdated plans and accounts are removed when no longer required. The U.S. Joint Forces Command’s Joint Deployment Training Center’s (JDTC) JOPES Support Personnel Course (JSPC) was designed for personnel who use JOPES information technology applications in support of the joint planning and execution process. The course emphasizes the role and use of JOPES applications
to support crisis action planning, with special emphasis
on: Students are taught to build, modify, and delete TPFDD
requirements, participate in the validation process, and
build reports. JSPC provides hands-on training for these
JOPES IT applications: The JSPC is essential for all military or civilian personnel who operate within the Joint Planning and Execution community. JDTC’s JSPC course is a five-day certificate awarding
course taught by JDTC at Fort Eustis, Va., or by JDTC’s
Mobile Training Teams. A final U.S. Secret clearance is
required to attend the course. For more information go to JDTC’s Web site by clicking here. Download this page as a printable fact sheet (Opens in a new window and requires Adobe Acrobat) |
