Joint Force Projection Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration
The Joint Force Projection (JFP) Advanced Concept Technology
Demonstration (ACTD) is an ACTD that has produced the JFP
enterprise visualization services capability.
This capability is available now and provides all combatant
commanders with an improved view of joint force projection
information that draws disparate data from multiple authoritative
core deployment and distribution systems and databases.
The JFP portal provides visualization in a single view
of capabilities across the force projection process from
requirements generation through closure in theater.
JFP
is available today in the National Military Command Center
as the Joint Planning and Execution Community visualization
service for capabilities and is scheduled to transition
to the emerging Net-Enabled Command Capability.
Joint military utility assessments (JMUAs) were conducted
at U.S. Pacific Command (USPACOM). JFP demonstrated military
utility for tracking and visualizing of capability requirements.
JFP
proved effective and efficient for operations and added
value in support to the joint deployment process according
to the USPACOM commander and director of operations.
The capability provides a single integrated force projection
picture that links operators at service, joint and agency
levels using real-time, Web-based information systems to
improve and simplify JFP efforts.
Developers for the JFP ACTD include:
USJFCOM
The Defense Information Systems Agency
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency
The Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Advanced Systems
and Concepts, supported by the services, U.S. Central Command,
U.S. Pacific Command, and U.S. Transportation Command.
