Joint
Force Trainer - Doctrine
Joint Force Trainer - Doctrine's top priority is to support
the commands' efforts to provide trained, capable, and interoperable
joint forces for the combatant commanders. Joint doctrine
provides the common standards from which to plan and operate,
and fundamentally shapes the way we think about and train
for war. Joint doctrine guides the employment of joint forces
and provides the common way of conducting operations based
on existing capabilities.
USJFCOM's Joint Warfighting Center
(JWFC) plans and conducts
joint training with a foundation in joint doctrine, and assesses
it during its application in joint force training, experimentation
and operations. JWFC's Joint Force Trainer - Doctrine assists
the Joint Staff by serving as the major production center
for joint doctrine assessment and development. These products
aid combatant commanders in preparing for joint and multinational
operations.
JWFC's Joint Force Trainer - Doctrine:
Assists the Joint Staff in leading the development of the
joint/multinational doctrine process;
Assists other U.S./multinational organizations in doctrine
development;
Leads the conceptualization of joint/multinational standards;
Leads the analysis and Integration of validated concepts,
lessons learned, new capabilities, policies, strategies,
tactics, techniques, and procedures into joint doctrine;
Provides an unbiased view to ensure joint doctrine is relevant
and current;
Reviews all joint/multinational publications;
And leads joint doctrine assessment through a blend of unique
capabilities and interaction with constellation partners.
Joint
Force Trainer - Doctrine is a critical conduit to transition
combatant command initiatives through our analysis
of their joint doctrine proposals; participation in drafting
project directives; and through the development of combatant
commander sponsored joint doctrine publications (handbook,
pamphlets, and white papers). Joint Force Trainer - Doctrine's
research and special studies serve as critical vehicles to
move validated concepts and "best practices" into
joint and multinational doctrine. Properly applying joint
doctrine during training, mission planning and execution
represents a force multiplier and results in a more effective
and efficient joint force.
Joint doctrine is consistently changing to reflect our consensus
regarding the current practices of the joint force, as a
result of the changing nature of warfare, and the evolving
strategic environment.
