Warfare Analysis Center
The Joint Warfare Analysis Center (JWAC) is a subordinate unified command of U.S. Joint Forces Command, located on the Naval Support Facility in Dahlgren, Virginia.
JWAC provides combatant commands, Joint Staff, and other customers with precise technical solutions in order to carry out the national security and military strategies of the United States.
JWAC maintains and enhances its ability to conduct comprehensive technical analysis. JWAC analysis informs and supports decision makers both in combat and in policy-making sessions at the highest levels of government.
With direct connection to the combatant commanders, JWAC is uniquely positioned within DoD to flexibly solve a broad range of problems, examine intractable issues from an unfettered viewpoint, and provide commanders will full spectrum engagement options encompassing all elements of national power.
JWAC conducts its operations with a largely civilian workforce and a small military contingent.
