Joint Communications Support Element Joint Enabling Capabilities Command’s (JECC) Joint Communications Support Element (JCSE), headquartered at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., provides tactical communications packages tailored to the specific needs of a full joint task force headquarters (JTF HQ) and to a joint special operations task force. JCSE has the unique ability to solve communications and interoperability problems between services, coalitions and host nation partners. As a joint airborne / deployable communications organization, the capabilities of the JCSE include:
JCSE is comprised of a headquarters squadron and three active duty line squadrons. It also includes the Florida Air National Guard’s 290th Joint Communications Support Squadron, the Army Reserve’s 4th Joint Communications Squadron and the Deployable Joint Command and Control / 5th Joint Communications Squadron all based with JCSE at MacDill Air Force Base and the Georgia Air National Guard’s 224th Joint Communications Support Squadron headquartered in Brunswick, Ga. These joint active duty, Guard and reserve personnel can globally deploy within hours of notification to provide command, control, communications and computers support to geographic combatant commands and U.S. Special Operations Command. JCSE provides dependable and timely tactical communications in support of missions spanning the globe.
